The Wilbinga Shacks Crew have requested of the volunteers to have these UHF channels kept clear.
UHF 15, this channel will be for emergency purposes, there will be a base station setup at the Shacks on 20.
UHF 20, kept clear but please use channel 20 only if someone wants to talk directly to the Shacks Crew for assistance, be it for vehicle recovery or directions.
There will be a comprehensive first aid kit at the Shacks for anyone that needs assistance for any medical emergencies though it is advisable you have your own.
Also, please familiarise yourself with the locations of the "Beach Emergency Number” signs http://www.friendsofwilbinga.com.au/mapping now spread throughout Wilbinga.
In addition, there is a 4G Telstra tower on a hill at the shacks if anyone needs to call anyone from within Wilbinga.
